The Design
Julie's ring was drawn from the ground up. The cathedral setting arches up to meet the stone so the diamond sits low enough to be wearable every day, yet high enough to catch light from every angle. The gallery rail runs beneath the head to protect the stone and give the profile a finished, architectural line.
A soft-cornered cushion cut with a dense, "crushed ice" facet pattern that creates a broad, velvety blanket of sparkle. The elongated proportions read larger on the hand and give a warm, modern brilliance.
Sweeping shoulders rise to cradle the head, adding structural strength and a graceful, sloped silhouette viewed from the side.
A slim rail beneath the center stone adds security and a crisp architectural line, visible only when the ring is turned in the light.
